Left-wing versus right-wing

What's the real, the original difference?

1. The ORIGINAL political spectrum

< < Left-wing - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Right-wing > >

In vivid contrast to the current misinformation, the original distinction - freedom, liberty - which divided the left-wing and right-wing makes a lot more sense. The political spectrum used to show how much freedom and freedom to choose the average citizen had - before the disingenuous campaign by the left-wing to hide their socialist agenda. It went like this:
  • Far left: Government has all the power and you have virtually no freedom of choice. Communists, Dictators, Fascists, Nazis, etc. are all here.
  • Left wing: Government has most of the power, socialists are here.
  • Centrists: Moderate government power, law enforcement, military, civil projects, conservatives and some moderates are here.
  • Right wing: Minimal government limited to protecting others, conservatarians and libertarians are here.
  • Far right: No government power, you and everyone else have unrestricted freedom of choice. Anarchists are in this category.
Both socialists and globalists promote the current confusion - its lack of clarity is designed to conceal their radical totalitarian policies of ubiquitous control over the common man - you and me. Credit for clarification of the vital distinction between left-wing and right-wing belongs to especially insightful Disqus commentators like LeftCoastThinker and SaveTheWest.

2. Adolf Hitler's Socialist policies appealed to voters

I am a socialist because it seems to me incomprehensible to nurture and treat a machine with care, but to deceive the noblest representative of the work, the human being.”
- Adolf Hitler, Monument for the German Labour Front, Dorstfeld 1935.

Socialist promises - the superficial attractiveness of free stuff - are what got Hitler's Nazi party elected and re-elected. This explains the mystery - how on earth did Hitler persuade Germans to continually vote the Nazi party into power? Nowadays, we're again seeing that Socialism's promise of free stuff for everybody is immensely attractive - until you realize that you and your children are the ones who will pay both for it and the growth in government overhead.

Since competitive prices and competitive delivery both require competition, socialist promises of more with more government control can never deliver. That's why Democratic and Labor government-run businesses eliminate competition and profit, it demonstrates how the removal of incentive also removes the immense benefit of the profit motive!
As Republican Dr. Barbara Bellar said about ObamaCare, the Democrat’s socialist free health-care system (see video here):

Let me get this straight… We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!

3. Socialist policies offer NO freedom

The left-wing want nearly complete control over your life, just like Hitler's Nazi party. Although Time Magazine named Adolf Hitler as their 1938 Man of the Year see Time Magazine January 2, 1939, they now explain how Hitler's socialist economic policies hurt small businesses as well as people's food supply, a self-serving extract from a link now gone bad:

""Most cruel joke of all, however, has been played by Hitler & Co. on those German capitalists and small businessmen who once backed National Socialism as a means of saving Germany's bourgeois economic structure from radicalism. The Nazi credo that the individual belongs to the state also applies to business.

"Some businesses have been confiscated outright, on other what amounts to a capital tax has been levied. Profits have been strictly controlled. Some idea of the increasing Governmental control and interference in business could be deduced from the fact that 80% of all building and 50% of all industrial orders in Germany originated last year with the Government.

"Hard-pressed for food-stuffs as well as funds, the Nazi regime has taken over large estates and in many instances collectivized agriculture, a procedure fundamentally similar to Russian Communism."

4. Socialist policies have not succeeded anywhere!

This crucial question, which has never been answered, has been posed on many occasions by famed economist Dr. Dan Mitchell, see https://danieljmitchell.wordpress.com
Socialists pretend that all socialism's failures simply weren't implemented properly, and if only they were in charge, things would be different. But Venezuela, Greece, North Korea, Russia (previously the Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics), Nazi Germany, etc., etc., no matter how rich or poor originally, prove that Socialist policies everywhere have caused long-term failure.

But what about Denmark and Sweden? Actually, their free-market policies made them wealthy before implementing some socialist policies with negative results - they are now moving AWAY from socialism. Yet they don't discuss ARGENTINA. Is that because it's the latest example of a country which has totally ruined its previously successful economy with socialist policies?

Adolf Hitler’s Nazi party dreamt of Europe with Socialist political/ social/ economic policies. The long time EU leader Jean-Claude Juncker and his father were Nazi party members during World War 2. German Socialists such as Angela Merkel are still trying to convert the European Union into the Fourth Reich...

The term "far-right" was concocted in the 1920s by the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in order to suggest that their fascist co-leftists weren't of the left, but were of the right. They invented the term "far-right" because the fascists and Nazis were competing for the votes of the same working-class groups as the communists. The communist lie was (and still is) that their competitors were just "conservatives" in disguise.

"We have examples of nations, such as the Soviet Union, where the government had near-total control over the allocation of labor and capital. And I suppose Hong Kong would be the closest example of a laissez-faire jurisdiction. And then there’s everything in between.

I’ve already shared two great videos on government planning versus the market. I strongly recommend this Prager University video, narrated by Professor Burton Folsom, on the failure of government-dictated investment. And also this video narrated by Professor Russ Roberts, which shows how a decentralized market efficiently provides a bounty to consumers."

6. Pervasive use of misinformation - lies

Socialists have an enormous incentive to hide the political and economic truth from you, the only way to achieve complete control over your life is with continual lies about socialism’s devastating economic outcomes.

The Koran advocates taqiyya lying to non-believers, kaffirs, apostates, to people like you and me - to achieve their aim of enforcing Islam on the whole world.

Nazi Führer Adolf Hitler liked the idea to help him achieve his evil agenda, as explained in Mein Kamf:

The broad masses ... more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods."

The Nazi propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels, clarified:

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie ... the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, truth is the enemy of the state."

7. Conclusion

When government expands, liberty contracts. Governments on both the left and the right use the force of law to restrict or even eliminate competition to any business they run.

To conceal their origins and the results of their socialist policies, democrats both lie about their previous policies - e.g. democrats were the KKK party and they fought against every major civil rights act in U.S. history - as well as the results. Some say they lie everything - including your constitutionally-protected right to defend yourself from an armed criminal.
The policies of Hitler's Nazi party were indeed left-wing, see the unambiguous proof here. Socialists all follow Geobells' maxim, they both lie big and repeat their lies incessantly. With their false claims that President Trump "lies ALL the time," the Main Stream Media are dedicated to fake news. The recent article "Lying Is a Time-Honored Leftist Tradition" explains it's being going on for years. See here and more here, here, here and here.

"In the last few years, the very idea of telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth is dredged up only as a final resort when the alternative options of deception, threat and bribery have all been exhausted."
